ARTIST, STORY TELLER, and WARRIOR FOR JOY

   Quinn Reed is the author and illustrator of "NOTHING SMALL, NOTHING ORDINARY" a memoir about a great adventure undertaken to bid her daughter and son good-bye when she was blindsided by the unexpected pain of empty nesting. She is also the author and illustrator of a children’s book "BIRDIES."  This book is a delightful visual romp designed to make adults and children giggle with glee. Separately the books stand on their own and together are a lovely set for new parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles and anyone who is contemplating parenthood.

Quinn married her lifelong partner in college and the newlyweds flew to Nairobi, Kenya to serve as teachers in the Peace Corps. for three years and then traveled much of the world before smart phones existed.  Quinn is now an urbanite who lives in Denver, CO  USA near enough to her two adult children and three grandsons that she can walk to their homes when they miss her enough to invite her over.
